We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data we receive from Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
When you message our Facebook Page or Instagram account, Meta provides us with your message contents, your Facebook/Instagram username, your profile picture, and the timestamp of your message. We use that information only to respond to your inquiry and to keep an internal record of our conversation with you. We do not use your Facebook or Instagram information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than communicating with you about Deals Unlimited.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep customer information for as long as needed to complete the transaction you contacted us about and to meet our legal obligations (Michigan dealer recordkeeping rules typically require us to retain sale and title records for several years). After those obligations end, or sooner upon your request, we delete or anonymize the data described below.
7. How to request that we delete your data
You have the right to ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a deletion request:
Your full name as we would know you (for example, the name you used when you contacted us, applied for financing, or purchased a vehicle).
The email address, phone number, Facebook username, or Instagram username we may have on file for you.
A short description of what you would like deleted (for example, "all messages and inquiries I sent through Facebook" or "everything you hold from my 2025 inquiry on a Chevy Tahoe").
We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete your request within 30 days, unless we are required by law to retain specific records (for example, completed-sale documentation under Michigan dealer recordkeeping rules). If any records must be retained for legal reasons, we will tell you which categories and for how long.
